The expo continues to be the largest event on the Hills Chamber of Commerce calender during the year and the largest event that we currently manage. We estimate that there were over 200 exhibitors staff who also attended and participated in the expo taking total numbers to over 800.
This event would not have been possible without the assistance of Baulkham Hills Shire Council and our other great support partners - Hills Shire Times, Minuteman Press, Kreative Business Builders and GWP magazine.
We would also like to thank our new Silver Sponsors- Power Ford Castle Hill and Community Room Sponsor - ANZ.
Power Ford sponsored the entry and registration area which included a display of a number of their current Fords including the all new Mondeo imported from Europe (it arrived in Australia the previous day and was detailed and expressed to the expo).
ANZ sponsored a new initiative at the expo - a community room - which hosted a number of local charities and organisations including St Gabriel's School for the hearing impaired, Bella Vista Farm, Powerhouse Discovery Centre Castle Hill and Norwest Sunrise Rotary.
Despite late afternoon rain around 200 people joined us in the marquee for drinks and cocktails as part of the Hills Chamber Business-after-five for October. Alan Cadman, retiring Federal member for Mitchell, opened the event thanking exhibitors and visitors alike for thier participation and support of the local community. The passport promotion prizes were then draw; from a record number of entries one lucky visitor won a weeks holiday for two to New Zealand including $500 spending money courtsey of JC Travel Professionals and ANZ.
We would also like to acknowledge Woolworths Limited, one of Norwest's biggest employers, who have supported these expos from the beginning providing free Woolworths shopping bags as showbags to all expo visitors.
Please scroll down to check out the best stand awards being received as well as a list of prize winners from the passport promotion incorporated into all our expos. They really are great events to showcase your business or find out the products and services available locally.
It you didn't get the chance to make it to the expo, or you want to follow-up on an exhibitor you met there, please go to our Sponsors and Exhibitors page for further information.
Expo Edge would like to thank everyone who supported us at this event and look forward to 2008. Please Contact Us if you would like to be included on our mailing list for this event.
