Expo Edge, in conjunction with the Ryde Business Forum, were pleased to present the highly successful second annual Ryde Business and Technology Expo at the Stamford Grand North Ryde. We acknowlede our major sponsors Ryde Business Forum, City of Ryde and Stamford Grand North Ryde. Forty exhibitors covering a huge variety of businesses from the Ryde, Macquarie Park & surrounding Business District, showcased their business and latest technology to the many visitors and exhibitor staff that attended the expo |
The Expo was followed by the Ryde Business Forum's after-5 networking event for August. This was one of their biggest events this year and despite the inclement weather was very well attended. The prizes from the Passport Promotion were awarded and delicious canapes and well deserved drinks were continually supplied during the party. |

This expo would not have been possible without the assistance of our other fantastic Alliance Partners - Awards & More, GWP Business Resource & Lifestyle Magazine, Inflatable Event Company, WAVE AV, Wickham Public Relations, and X Designs, and our Support Partners Satellite Digital, SingTel Optus and Northern District Times. The new Community area showcasing local charities and Not-for-Profit organisations was a great success. They were able to display their organisations to the corportate world of Ryde and obtain future contacts. The Best Stand was won by Worldwide On Line Printing for their colourful and eye catching design. The Best Rookie Stand was won by Flight Centre Business Travel for not only their design but also their great treasure bowl idea on their stand. This kept many visitors chatting to the staff as they burrowed in the bowl for the winning key! All Sports Stars were visited the event again this year and this time brought the official Australian Olympic torch. Exhibitors and visitors were eager to get their photo holding this prestigious icon. Expo Manager David Milne: “the 2008 Ryde Business & Technology Expo moved to a new and more central location at the Stamford Grand North Ryde and with the additional focus on Technology in the Ryde area this year, it helped the 2008 event to reach new heights.
